QCad is something you could check out. It is based on AutoCAD and the

You are right, I don't get any further messages. What do you suggest I
do about Hal? I have tried reinstalling it already.

Hi,
I am running Etch on my Macbook and of late, am having a problem
wherein Amarok throws up a 'Xine could not initialize any audio
drivers' message after playing 1 track. Disabling crossfade seems to
solve it, for some reason. I tried deleting the xine-config file,
.xine folder etc, to no avail.

I am running Debian Etch on a Macbook, and I have a simple problem,
namely, that my $HOME/.Xresources file, which has a few colour options
for xterm, is not read at startup. I need to manually xrdb load it
each session. I tried a variety of options, including linking it to
the system Xdefaults
