production servers. But nature of this code implies what there is
shouldn't be any race of mix of old\new files.

Hello.
One question:
It is safe to use backported kernel in production?
I seems to need to use 2.6.30+ kernel to have a fix in OCFS2.

is failing for this particular uid (100).
I'm not sure if it is a debian or an openssh specific issue,
but rather glibc (2.3.6-ds1-13) or maybe kernel (2.6.18-4-powerpc
debian) related
thing.
For now I has changed the sshd uid to another value and restared the ssh daemon
and it works fine now
Maybe there is something around :

wrong username.
Seems unlikely. Since the usernames on both sides are correct.

I tried:

Hello,
I'm experiencing fairly weird issue when my linux box (running
Debian 4.0 powerpc) with the SSH server (SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_4.3p2
Debian-9) has stopped accepting incoming connections from a moment of
time without any obvious reason.
Any attempts to establish a connection fail before I'm bein

Total mess.
I tried reinstalling most packages involved, dpkg-reconfiguring defoma and
fontconfig,
running defoma-reconfigure manually, and a whole lot of other things. I am
getting
no errors anywhere, yet no improvement.
Is this stuff supposed to work at all? What is the right way to unhose this
mess?

Hi !
I have an old ISA NIC:
SMC EtherCard Plus Elite
16 Combo (WD/8013EW)
It works fine with Windows 98, Mandrake Linux,
Coyote Linux Router
however in Debian 2.2r3 insmod wd fails
(neither with io=0x280 irq=5
nor with autoprobe). Where is the problem ?
sincerely,
