No, I'm running solaris 7 on it. I'just trying to find out a way to setup a logging for the rm command. Not for every user on the entire system, just for some users, defined by default group ( defined in /etc/profile ( ksh )). I was told by one of our OVMS admins that there is a logging available

I had the same problem as you. but I didn't install the server again via dselect. Just remove everything of /usr/X11R6/* and /etx/X/* Download the currecnt server from the net ftp.xfree86.org and re install it. Before you start installing it, read the file may.txt . it will tell you howto and don
