I have two very vague & general questions:

I'm interested in emptying root's home directory, removing it, and making
a symbolic link to my home directory, /home/kmfahey . This is for various
aesthetic and convenience reason
I've a few minor problems with man.
To start with, I'm using SVGATextMode. My screen is set to 116x60. However,
whenever I view a man page with man, it reformats the page to 80 columns wide,
and justifies it.
I'm using slink, with most of the core upgraded to potato. When I was in
Redhat before (
I was using tleds. I am no longer using tleds.
I compiled and installed it earlier tonight. It was nice to have Tx and Rx
lights again, but every time the lights flashed they'd interrupt the keyboard
repeat, and would mess with any keypress directly coincidental with them.
