Came up with the following error trying to compile a development kernel. The
same kernel compiled fine on my Suse partition.
as 86 -0 -a -o bboot sect.o bbootsect.s
make [1]: as86: Command not found
make [1]: *** [bbootsect.o] Error 127
make [1]: Leaving directory '/usr/src/linux-2.1.122/arch/i38
Slackware, Red Hat, Suse and now Debian. I had no idea there was so much
difference between the setup on Debian and the other dist. I would appreciate
a well placed nudge in the right direction.

Just installed a 8.4 gig hd and set it up for a triple-boot with Suse
5.2, RedHat 5.1 and Debian 2.0. Installed Suse and set up the
partitions for the other OS's. Red Hat refuses to go to the partition
screen saying something about "not enough resources." I was able to
format the partitions for
. This is one area we think needs help for Linux
to advance into the corporate world.
