Thanks a lot.

Thanks a lot. I just think it's at least a `weak' bug: Any crontab
item specifying the minute slot as `*' may be a potential disaster.

Hi Medina,
Do the Chinese characters display regularly on screen? If so, that is
problem of printing font.
Anyway, you may try the following steps to solve your problem:
1) Reinstall a suitable Chinese font. Now, wenquanyi is a good option.
2) Configure your desktop environment's font setting.

Hi all,
My box is on debian/testing, and I have compiled kernel by the debian
way. Because it's testing and kernel-patches are often provided, I
wonder whether I have to compile the kernel again after retrieving a
kernel patch or even a new kernel via aptitude full-upgrade operation.
Thanks for y
Hi all friends,
Thank you very much for your help.
SciPy can solve all my current requirements. Octave may be stronger, but
the learning curve for me is also larger. Sage is my another option -
also Python-based.
Thank you guys again.
Best regards,

I think you may try to print some document into file, normally .ps file.
If it processes like a real printing job, I mean the printer also can

Hi Tutty,

I understand that bitmap fonts are lousy for 'zoom' screen display, but
in normal condition, bitmap fonts display more concrete on screen than
truetype fonts, and this difference may not be very notable for western
