possible star office memory leak

Has anyone noticed possible memory leaks running star office? I started using it a few days ago and leave it running all of the time. I also run the setiathome program at night and its been running fine for weeks. But last night it crashed and gave me "can't allocate memory" error. I've also notice

TkAweMidi won't work

Any time I try to play a midi file in TkAweMidi, I get an error which state that "can't open sequencer device." All of my other sound programs work, for .wav, .mp3 etc. This is the only one which won't. Please help. Thanks Kathy
