Greetings, I need to find out how one would go about running a program
that was written in qbasic on a linux machine. Any suggestions? (please
restrain the flames, i realize many of you are experts in programing
etc.. I am not, and new to attempting to run win. stuff in linux.

Greetings, I need advise as to what might've become bollixed after a
kernel upgrade.
Problem: Unable to mount the scsi (real, native, scsi cd burner for
reading).
Symptoms: mount /dev/sr0 will immediately spool up the cd-r/w after
3-5 minutes of running a message is printed: media not found. Or

e using the XiG 3D Accelerated X-server
on Debian? XiG does'nt support Debian, they say, because of non-standard
init. and xinit protocols. Thank You in advance any advice is welcome
(p.s. I am reading, or will shortly be, the READMEs on the 2.2r2 disks
