I have also seen this particular result with PVFS2. Our solution
(since the filesystem was just scratch in the first place) was to
reformat the filesystem.

Some other suggestions. I noticed that the crash appears to have
occurred with xscreensaver. Does it always happen with this process,

Anyone happen to off the top of their heads what the serial connection

I have an Emulex 7000E fibrechannel controller card that I have hooked
into a Compaq RA4100 raid array box.
The driver for the emulex 7000e loads (the lpfc module) but once it
loads, there is no way to scan for the drives that are located off of
the emulex.
Does anyone have any experience working
