3c503 Network card: Shared Memory??

Hello, I have a 3c503 Network card from 3Com which reports at boot time: 'REJUMPER FOR SHARED MEMORY' I have read that this is what I should do for this card, but have no idea of how to go about this, or even where to start looking. Is there a Howto, or does someone out there know the answer.

mtools problem

Hello, After upgrading to Debian 1.3.1, I am now having a problem using some of the mtools operations. The command 'mdir' works but 'mcopy a:' and 'mdel a:' produce the following error: This command cannot operate on "." or ".." Does anyone have any suggestions, appart from mounting/unmounting

I am net to this list so sorry if I am asking any repeat questions. Problems: Not being able to remotely login anymore after installing a package (most probably xinetd). I could remote login before installing this. Now all I get is connection refused, even remote login in from the local machine
