Hello,
I have a 3c503 Network card from 3Com which reports at boot time:
'REJUMPER FOR SHARED MEMORY'
I have read that this is what I should do for this card, but have no
idea of how to go about this, or even where to start looking.
Is there a Howto, or does someone out there know the answer.
Hello,
I have a problem with the start-stop demon at bootup. Most demons start
ok except the following:
at
cron
sysklog
xinet
I know they haven't started as the message at boot up complains:
No such file or Directory
but neglects to tell me which file or directory it is looking for.

Hello,
After upgrading to Debian 1.3.1, I am now having a problem using some of
the mtools operations. The command 'mdir' works but 'mcopy a:' and
'mdel a:' produce the following error:
This command cannot operate on "." or ".."
Does anyone have any suggestions, appart from mounting/unmounting

This has not happened. I searched and read through all the

I ran setup as a user successfully, with no errors reported.

(or something very similar)
I have XPPATH set to:
/usr/local/StartOffice-3
Please can you help:
I have a problem with the fvwm window manager, it cannot load
libXpm.so.4.
When I run startx, X starts and displays the grey screen, then drops

I am net to this list so sorry if I am asking any repeat questions.
Problems:
Not being able to remotely login anymore after installing a package
(most probably xinetd). I could remote login before installing this.
Now all I get is connection refused, even remote login in from the local
machine
roblem as you can use quite a few partitions on
you hard drive. If you read the debian.FAQ document, it has some guide
lines on what sizes you should make your partitions and what they should
be mounted as.
