I have been trying to compile the codebase for "bcast 2000", a
multimedia application on my debian box.
Under /usr/src/linux/include/linux (kernel 2.2.17), there is a file
named "cdrom.h" that has many DVD_* definitions.
But under /usr/include/linux, the cdrom.h does not have these
definitio

Love this distro, just rearranged my hard drive and rebuilt a buncha
stuff. Ideas or comments on these appreciated.
1) fsck during the boot sequence. I changed from a small root partition
to several partitions. Now when the machine boots, it runs fsck on the
former (and still) root partiti

used "apt-get update". It failed after retreiving the pkg files with a
