I am wondering if my Jessie system is updating its clock regularly. It
gives a
different time than my Windows box. What package contains the daemon
that updates the time from a central site?
Thanks,
John

ordinary users can use it.

None of these solutions work. ifconfig is not available on Jessie. ip
seems to be inapropriate. dig produces nothing. I have used ifconfig on
other distros.

e problem is most
likely with the new version of the gnuTLS library that Jessie uses. If
this is the case the same problem would occur with exim4 or nullmailer.
Is there a way to get the older version of gnuTLS and protect it from
updating? What else would you suggest?
Thanks,

John J. Boyer;
Can't find a package that does it so gcc can find it.
