crystal sound on dell

My  kde is semi-working.  My backspace key acts the same as a delete key should.  If i change some things in Xmod keymap it doesn't work at all.  Another thing is that I don't get color when i set backgrounds that are .jpg or .gif images.  Any help would be great. - -- Joel Keat

I'm having problems with dhcpd. For somereason no matter what I change dhcp sets my hostname to dhcpc1 or something. I've changed it in the hostinfo-eth0 file to be a different name i've change /etc/hosts. I'm don't know where dhcp is getting this hostname and if there is a way to fix it? Any
