I have an old laptop with a Pentium II (686-pae) and an ATI Rage 128
(r128.ko) Mobility M3 video card. When attempting to run vlc,
kaffeine, or mpv, they attempt o open up libvdpau_nvidia.so, which
doesn't work. I've tried disabling hardware decoding in VLC, but it
still tries to open that libra
-free, although I don't know
how well Mozilla supports it.

I'm using an S3 Trio3D using the XFree86 3.3.5 FrameBuffer. I used
the frame buffer howto at:
http://www.uno.edu/~adamico/banshee/files/vesafb.txt
to set it. Key to remember is that you use the hex values for command
line booting, and decimal values in lilo.conf. I run at 1280 x 1024,
16 bit c
