Hi all,
I was wondering whether there was a standard convention for which file to use
for
module loading. I am not sure whether modules.conf or my startup script is the
best
spot for loading sound modules.
How is this normally done?
Thanks,
Jason.
I think he made it clear that he tried searching the archive. No need to RTFM
everyone
at all times :-)

Hi all,
I am now trying to get my scanner installed under linux and sane. I have
loaded the
kernel module which promptly finds my scanner. /proc/scsi/scsi reports it
found.
Only problem, I am used to linking /dev/scanner to /dev/sg0 (for SCSI device 0).
There is no /dev/sg* on my slink system.

Hi guys. I am really struggling here with the
install of slink. Any help greatly appreciated as I am being forced to run
Win95.
I boot up OK and get through to the point where we
reboot the base system. Then I run the pkgsel where I select dialup home user
profile and launch into dselect.
