I know you cannot predict this 100 % accurate but what do you think how likely will XFree86 4.3 be included in stable Sarge? I need XFree86 4.3 due to a bug in DRM in prior releases. I it is not very likely for it to be included I will have to think about migrating to another distro :-( Thanks

According to the Debian reference Debian uses both ~/.xsession and ~/.xinitrc for setting up an X-environment. I use wdm as display manager and need a personal PATH. If I set it up in ~/.xsession it works as desired but if I now login on a terminal and start a separate X-Server my ~/.bash_profile

Yesterday I updated the kernel image of my notebook with a copy of standard debian image for 2.4.18-586. The update went without flaws except that on every boot I get theese messages: - /etc/modules.conf is more recent than /lib/modules/2.4.18-686-smp/modules.dep - insmod: cannot locate module *
