MSI 865GM2-LS or NECPD72874

Hi all! Does anybody have experience with MSI 865GM2-LS motherboard? I am specially interested in the onboard LAN which is (according to the msi homepage http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/mainboard/mbd/pro_mbd_detail.php?UID= 453 ) an NECPD72874. I like to use this one under linux but didn't

XFree86 in 1152x864, problem!

Hi all! I want to configure XFree86 to run in 1152x864 mode. There's no problem with startup, but altough I do not enable virtual screen, it appears as one. (I don't know if it is running at 1152x864 with a virtual screen of 1280x102 or running at 1024x768 with a virtual screen 1152x864). Has some

Gnome (1.4) problem with panel

Hi all! I have the following problem: after updating from Woody r0 to Woody r1 for some reason lots of panels try to start. That gives altogether 5 question pop-ups asking if I want to start a new panel instead of the crashed one. If I close these question windows with answering them by "No" n
