i've tried to write a text with kword, to see how it works. but when i want
to see se print preview (using gv) or when i print my text, it systematically
truncates the end of the lines. it also changes the shape of the text, for
example on a letter header it doesn't appear as a block on t

i've tried to install the kernel 2.4.20, but since then i couldn't use x-win
anymore. and understand what the kernel message i've found in syslog, about
r128_ccc_indirect means. specially the buffer owned by 0.
i'll be glad if sombody could explain me what's wrong.

no, usbdevfs is disabled in the kernel. it seemed very experimental, and i
didn't read the doc.
i'll rebuild the kernel with it enabled.

i've just bought an epson 1660 scanner, but i can't install it because it's
not detected.
i've tried to figure out what the problem is, and only found more problems.
i use kernel 2.4.18
