loading Galeon seems to have killed X

I received some help earlier but still struggling.  I downloaded and installed Galeon and even got Galeon running except fo the fact that my fonts within X were all screwed up.  I decided to reboot to see if that might clear up the issue.   I rebooted, and on some advice, I ran /usr/sbin/loca

newbie questions

I made the plunge and completely turned my Dell Inspiron 3000 into a Debianbox.  I installed using the CD's (that is installed multiple times).After a few false starts I have a working Debian computer using theEnlightened desktop.  I'm unfortunately less than complete in myinstallation.  Un
