Is because I have to switch hard drives physically to do any linux activity
which I don't have internet connectivity till I can get the ethernet card
running.
Sorry to be a pain but I am new to linux by 6 hours!

Looked the card and it is a ADMtek AN983B chip and from ADMtek website I got
a Unix driver called fastnic.pkg.
It saves to install this way:
Log in as root
cd /tmp
doscp a:/unixware/fastnic.pkg /tmp
pkgadd -d /tmp/fastnic.pkg
Run netcfg, add the desired chain, the driver will be called "fastnic".
Is anyone aware of any drivers for a Microsoft MN-130 ethernet card for
debian?
