Below is a snip from the update of my Debian 'testing' system. I see
that there are again warnings that seem to be unresolved regarding
gconf2. I have been pondering if this should be filed as a bug report as
it is recurring though it does seem to be relative to some specific
upgrade & I'm not sure
Evony Age II does lot load on Iceweasel. It stalls at 27% every time.
when I first started playing there was no issue. However when I tried to
use the Facebook connect (which did not work) it started freezing the
loading process at 27%. Anyone playing this game? Any tips. It does work
fine on a Win
I', sent this previously but so far no reply. Can anyone tell me how to
get rid of this issue. I did an update & the trunk version of
linux-image was installed as the upgraded version. A few weeks later I
tried to install the newer regular version & after a few attempts it
finally installed & grub

Can anyone tell me the difference between the trunk version & the other
version. I installed the trunk version & it seems to be running well but
the last update tried to install the other version in testing. Why? &
it does not install, craps out with a lot of errors.??

I just tried to do an upgrade on testing & I,m getting several errors.
First snip of output is regarding unknown types. I have no idea what

I built Google Earth as instructed in the installer. It starts OK then
as soon as the browser pops open both the mouse & my keyboard freeze up
& I have to reboot. It seems to open the browser & a popup with tips.
I,m able to kill the tips,if I leave the curser in the browser screen,
but in seconds

I want to use my Linux box as a set top box to watch TV & to watch
streaming videos off the internet as well. I want to use the cards ATI
All-In-Wonder or the VisionTek cards with same chipset. the one I have
interest in is the HD 3650.

the installation the systems works from a reboot but I can not manually
stop or start the server, therefore I cant do the updates as they are
