I`m having a problem logging in at the console, each time I do log in the console reverts back to the log in screen. There`s a message relating to PAM unix not allowing the user in; session closed for user. Now I know someone else is having a similar problem as I`ve read so in the lists, Pam appare

`m fed up reading help pages off the internet. Why doesn`t anything happen if the program has installed ? Near the end of program running there was some seek error messages and it said some packages hadn`t been installed but that was due to bugs in the program. john wall

could some one help please. Have installed debian GNU v3.0r2(non us) Everything seemed to go in fine, except for some seek errors which I assume is normal. Got to user name and password OK. then nothing, I was expecting some format like windows, GUI, all I have is a flashing cursor. I`ve installed
