Every time I input some UTF-8 text in Xresources and change the default
font from iso8859-1 to iso10646-1 (btw, why iso885

Hi,
Is someone using ipsec from freeswan?
I run stable, and I tried the freeswan 1.96, but when I go through the
documentations it says to run ipsec verify, which give me the error
that verify is not an option. I took the tar file from freeswan site
and I did make install. Now I have the verify o

Hi,
I am looking for xlibs_4.1.0-14_i386.deb and
xlibs-dev_4.1.0-14_i386.deb. Can someone point me
where can I find it? I search at debian site, but only
xlibs_4.1.0-16_i386.deb and xlibs-dev_4.1.0-16_i386.deb
can be found, or newer. I need 14.
Please cc me.
Thank you,

Hi,
I run woody on a 2.4.18 kernel.
I update some teTeX stuff and I got some errors, about a missing
config.ps file. I locate the file and I made a link:
ln -s /etc/texmf/dvips/config.ps /usr/share/texmf/dvips/config/
So the error went away.
My question is: Why I had to do that? Is something b

A silly question, how to get or make 700Mb CD's with Debian Woody?
make-pseudo-image says:
The pseudo-image that will be generated is about 650 Mb in size.
I tried jigdo, but I can only download images of ~600Mb or less.
There is nobody making 700Mb images? If not, I am willing to do it so.

Hi,
Where can I read about how to change the irq for my sound card?
None of the followings are working (in /etc/lilo.conf):
append="via82cxxx_audio=0x1000,09,7,5"
append="via686a=0x1000,09,7,5"
append="via8233=0x1000,09,7,5"
append="ac97=0x1000,09,7,5"
I have a 2.4.18 kernel.
Thank you for you
Did someone configured succesfully this sound card (on board) with
Debian:
Multimedia audio controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. AC97 Audio
Controller (rev 10)
(as mentioned by lspci command).
Thank you,
