Hi all,
Does anyone know if the defaults for mdadm make sense anymore?
In particular, the three options for:
AUTOCHECK, AUTOSCAN, and START_DAEMON
It would *appear* that systemd has timers for these things now.
I'm confused as to whether systemd, mdadm, or both need configuring here.

I have had some luck with problem WiFi on laptops by setting the acpi_osi
type to one of various windows types on the kernel command line.
You can add it in /etc/default/grub

Hi,
Thanks for your reply,
I'm afraid I've always found the bug tracker a very inaccessible thing.
Despite having a decent amount of technical knowledge, I find it
daunting, and a jarring thing to cope with mentally.
This is why i come to the mailing lists to seek help, but as you note,

ssh session? Have I been thick?
Thanks,

Hi all,

Debian bookworm has been running very stably on it for some time. I
rebooted it a couple of weeks ago for maintainance, having applied
updates, after 108 days up. I have an encrypted LVM volume, containing
