I have got linux and vfat partitions on this disk.
If someone can refer me to some instructions on how this rescue disk is
made, I may try to make a custom kernel that might work.

I have had many problems trying to install hamm. I get the following
error message that appears on the installation screen menu. The
installation screen menu overwrites it. "c: tray open hdc: tra
hdc:tray end_request: I/O error dev 16:00 sector 0" When I try to
install the base I get the fo
I periodically get the above message even after I have installed a
debianized kernel. Does anybody know what this means? I am running bo
with some hamm additions.

Here is a repost of the kernel message log. It should be OK now with cr
and lf unless msdos edit has changed under w95.
