e your Win95 partition into
a Linux partition, all the info on that partition will be deleted,
including Win95. You just have to have two partitions (well, three,
since you need anotehr one for your Linux swap file).

He's right, definitely a new hard drive. I installed Debian on a 100meg
partition to test it out, and have since installed XWindows and KDE. Now
I want to start adding some proper applications, and run out of room.

Incidentally, after doing all this, I still get patchy midi sound
through kmidi. It will play bits (the same bits each time) of a song,
then just stop playing until a new song starts. Can anyone help me on
this?

If you download the Debian package Alien, you should be able to turn
rpms into deb packages.

files into a directory on your Debian partition, then
change into that directory and type:
dpkg -i name-of-file.deb
If it comes up with any error messages asking for other files, download
those files, install them using that method, then reinstall the file.
Repeat this for all the files.

I found that KDE required QT1, but the package from Troll Tech installs
