I was trying to get Xwindows running on my PC. It has Intel Direct 2x AGP
for graphics. I found the Xserver(XFCom_i810) and the agpgart kernel
module(i810Gtt_0.2-4.src.rpm) from the Intel website. Both are in .rpm

I recently installed Debian on a ayatem that had Win2k on it b4. I made 2
partiotions using GNU Parted and put Debian on the second. But after the
installation of Debian, I am not able to boot into Win2k. I checked
/etc/lilo.conf. It had only 2 images, vmlinuz and old*.*(forgot the exact

I have a Lexmark Z22 Colorjet printer. There is no driver for this printer
on Linux. But they do have a driver for Lexmark Z32 and linuxprinter.org
says that the same might work for Z22. Does anyone know if this is true , i
mean by their own experiance??

I recently installed Debian and i am trying to configure x windows. I used
XF86Setup. The video graphics card I have is Intel Direct AGP(810 Shared
memory) and I am not able to find a xserver for this. I tried other Intel
and AGP servers but I culdnt configure X windows. Can anyone help??
Also when I use dselect , the first option Access does not list CDROMS in
it. It says that it can be used only for http, ftp and APT. How do I install
from the CDS.

there. I thought that I had to install the source separately and tried using

I am trying to install Debian GNU/Linux on my PC. I wanted to know
if i culd burn the images that are in formats like .bin, .exe, .bat and use
them for installation. I have access to CD writers only on Windows. The CD
writer software is DirectCD.
