X: No screens found

Hello everybody, I've got a Fujitsu-Siemens laptop with S3 twister graphics adapter(with shared memory). I can't start the X environment with gdm display manager. The error message is "No screens found". If anybody has the same laptop and can send me the XFree86config file I would be grateful!!!

kernel 2.4.21 and gcombust

Hello to everyody, Both with 2.4.20 and 2.4.21 gcombust burns a cd and when "fixating process" is on the screen, the pc freezes while the 2 leds (Caps lock and Scroll lock ) light up.The pc needs a hard reset so as to come again in working state. Has anbody experienced same problems? Thanks in ad
