Im going to install a new Debian Lenny and im planning to do this:
Disk 1 (10GB)
/boot
swap
/tmp
/home (it's going to be a server without GUI so, im not going to use
/home too much)
Disk 2 (40GB)
/usr
/var
/ (root)
This server is going to have: LDAP, apache, php, DHCP (probably),

I already can print with my network printer, this is a Canon iR3570/4570.
I download the driver from Canon: CQue1.0-9 in tar.gz format, i follow
the instructions in the manual and great!! i could print, but for
OpenOffice i have to take one more step, but nothing i can not find in
the manual
e job but
never get to the printer output.
I could not even print a test page.
What am i doing wrong???

Recently i start to use wodim by console to writte a CD-RW, my CD-ROM
(internal, writter) persented problems so im using an externar cd-writter
(hp cd.writer 2800 series), but still im having problemas.
i try this:
(root user) wodim -v -eject -tao speed=0 dev=/dev/scd0 -data
/home/user/image
If i have an HP with an Intel Centrino, 64bit, should i dowload the iso for
amd64 or 32?? or amd64 is just for AMD ¿?

i just realize that my DVDROM does not work..
