problem with ppp.o and agpgart.o X Wont start

I recently attempted to use this mailing list however came into problems. Although I read the documentation On how to use the mailing list I was still stuck. I have just installed debian linux woody 3.0 r1 When it starts up it tries to load the x server then fails I used XFree86 -Configure and this gave me a new config file to test however this gave me the same problems Anybody who could help me I would be more than grateful   The X version
