is not necessary. But I'd do it
anyway because
booting clears the /tmp directory and I'd like a clean start.
Lemme know if that doesn't do the trick...

The resolv.conf file is very simple and usu. only requires the
following:

nameserver 198.60.22.2
nameserver 198.60.22.22
That's it.

? Or in the example above, there is
apparently a difference between the http directory structure on
security.debian.org and the ftp directory struct. How can I find out?
