Netscape and Debian for animated GIF

I was wondering why a Netscape communicator (or navigator) under Debian animates only one time an animated GIF, while under RedHat, it animates it forever ? Is there a fix for this ? PS : the Netscape was installed from the Netscape original .tar.gz package on Erwan ESNAULT mailto: [EMAIL
