I just bought a new hard drive for my system. I pan on using it and
taking the disk that currently in it and using it on another box. I
want to totally replicate what is happening on the disk. Is there a
pretty painless way of doing this?

I have xfstt running and a bunch of fonts copied into
/usr/share/fonts/truetype/ First question, do I have to do anything
besides having the .ttf in the directory and running xfstt? Second
question, how do I get the Gimp to see these fonts?

I keep getting this stupid error in my syslog:
modprobe: can't locate module char-major-6
now i searched my system, I dont have that module, how do I get this
error to stop? It puts 2 or 3 entries in the log a minute.
