Hi Rob!
Thanks! I will try the apt-cacher-ng way as soon as I can and possibly not
in a chroot as I was doing. I'm working just with lenny, so, at least, I
shouldn't get the troubles you mention about multiple distros.

Today I hane tried to install with synaptic, transcode package, required

an anexpected error (code 1). I typed man pppd to see the meaning of
the error code 1 and it was no so helpful, telling about a missing system call

Thanks
Emanuele
I just install the a new kernel 2.4.19. But when I
rebooted again I saw some errors but I couldn't see well because it ran too

My setup command is more or less like yours, and I can see my masquerade
rule set with 'ipfwadm -Fl', as it is shown with a "msq" type.

Hi,
I should write this message in debian-devel, but I don't know how to
subscribe to it, so I post this here.
I've got my account on master.debian.org, so I should be a developer, but
some e-mails asking for help to several people got no reply. Can anybody
help me?
Thanks,
