1.3.14 .deb and the php4.0.4RC3 .deb from woody. I just
made sure to download and install all of the packages that
these two are dependent on. You should definitely take a

running into a problem installing woody's version of debconf. I've taken
care of all the other dependencies except for debconf. When I do dpkg -i
debconf_0.5.34.deb I get the following error message:

Can anyone point out to me a good starting point for someone interested in
making .debs from source? I'm looking for some sort of step by step guide,
if such a thing exists.

I don't know if you've seen this article or not, but along with the suexec
documentation at apache.org, I found it to be very helpful while I was
setting up apache with suexec for a RedHat system at work.

I removed the broadcast address line from the /etc/network/interfaces file
below, and I added this to my etc/hosts file:
192.168.1.9 [your computer's name here]
I rebooted and that seemed to do the trick.
