I found the cause of my problem. By having http://debian.org/debian in my
sources.list, I was being redirected to a mirror that didn't
have all the files to be downloaded yet.

I have a jaz drive attached to my machine via a SCSI card plugged into a
PCMCIA slot (kernel 2.4.3). Is there a way to get it to automount during
boot by getting the PCMCIA services started before processing fstab? Or some
other option?

I upgraded two machines to woody/testing a couple of days ago, starting from
the libranet 1.9.1 distribution. One seems fine; one
doesn't.
The problem is that regardless of the user logging in, if Windowmaker or
