0.tar.bz2' this will extract the source code into a directory called (in this example) 'kernel-source-2.4.20' you should then create a sym. link ie. 'ln -s kernel-source-2.4.20 linux' you can then change to /usr/src/linux and compile your new kernel! Bye, Duncan --
