Hi Folks,
Today I apt-got the latest Sid Evolution (Ximian email client) package.
Eight Gnome-related library packages also upgraded/installed. Now
Evolution crashes on startup with:

Thank you, thank you!
That was incredibly helpful. I always wondered how to get info out of
the modem.
I went to the signal page on the modem and got -9 dBmV reported
Downstream Power Level.
Since this is well outside the +3 to -5 dBmV range given in the report,
I called ATT technical support.
Hi Folks,
I've got a Sid box (kernel 2.4.8) with two Linksys Etherfast v.2 NICs
which have worked flawlessly for several years now (confirmed by

line.
My problem is that I'm having to reset (ifdown/ifup) the interface

Hi Folks,
Anybody had trouble with debconf falling over dead on a woody upgrade?
Specifically:
Preparing to replace debconf 0.2.80.17 (using debconf_0.5.61_i386.deb)

Unpacking replacement debconf ...
Setting up debconf (0.5.61) ...

Has anyone else had this problem?--
I upgraded to slink and compiled kernel 2.2.3 this weekend, no problems.
Then, as root--it's a standalone box--I fired up quake2. The screen

keyboard went dead. Completely. Even numlock/ca
Does anybody know if there's a problem with Greenbush (the

a thing. Email inquiries get no response, either.

I'm looking for advice on what flat-bed SCSI scanner to
buy; something in the $200 - $400 price range, if
possible. I've got Debian 1.3.1 on a Cyrix-166 machine
currently, but I'll soon be upgrading to a dual PII-300.
Advice on what scanners to avoid would also be most welcome
