Excellent. Thanks everybody. I just flushed my cache and it all works
fine now. So much for trying to do an upgrade just before I go to bed.

Is there anywhere that I can get a list of apt sources. I want to do a
dselect install from floppies and use apt to get the distribution files
afterwards. I'm looking for slink apt sources, preferably off the ca.debian
domain.

I keep getting an error with a library. It's looking for -lfl and it can't
seem to find it. I'm running Debian 2.1 with some packages from 2.2 Any
thoughts on this would be helpful

I personally put all my networking configuration information into my
/etc/init.d/network configuration file. This ensures that anything to do
with networking gets setup together.

yet have not found one.

Well I have narrowed down my problem to sendmail seg faulting when sending
messages in the queue.. Is there any reason why this would suddenly start to
occure, should I upgrade to the frozen version of sendmail?

I seem to be having troubles with sendmail giving me errors when trying to
access the /etc/aliases.db file. Is there anything I can do remove these
errors, they seem to be causing sendmail to not send any mail, which makes
it kinda useless to have it running then.

> Why compiling if there's a debian package??
I am compiling because I was unable to find a deb package which had Apache
1.3.12 statically linked to mod_perl 1.24. Also I think it is a linker error
since when I run ldconfig I get a whole lot of skipped files that actually
exist.

says '_dl_default_scope' is undefined, found in function doit.2. Why would I
be getting this and how do I fix it. I am running with a pretty standard
install of Debian 2.1 with a few upgraded packages from potato.
Anybody have any thoughts on this?
