ripts for the monitored services are disabled
at boot time and the Cluster Resource Manager will start them. I think
that policy-rc.d is ignored at boot is more of a feature (at least in
some use cases).

Got it solved. turns out that there was an apt-proxy pointing to a non
existing machine, so the packages could not be loaded. Maybe
xen-create-image should print an error about this. ;) Anyway, the

your own mailaccount using /etc/aliases, just replace /dev/null with
your Mail-address. (Of course the system needs the ability to send
E-Mails to this destination.)
Also you should check why root is getting so many Mails and disable the
cause, therefore you have to read the mails.

I got it working, now. The problem was that tzdata was set to the
correct zone after the first setup and rsyslog wasn't restarted since
then. So in the auth.log every log entry was 2 hours old.

I have a strange problem with fail2ban. There are three Squeeze-Server
with identical configuration. One server works fine, if a user try to
login over SSH he will get blocked if he uses a wrong password to often.
On the two other server nothing happens (= no ban).
