I'm probably missing somethig here but does anybody know what happend
to nsupdate utility from bind package? It was included in bind 8.2.4
but is not in 8.3.1 .deb file but it is part of original sources from ISC.
Same thing applies for bind 9.2.0 (didn't check 9.1). Is it part of different
package

I was just about to build a system using 6410 raid 5 :(
Also couple of weeks ago 3ware announced it is going to
discontinue Escalade line of products. This makes me wonder
if this issue will ever get fixed.

Not sure what would be illegal on e.g. restarting your machine. This will
require DHCP server to issue a new lease. Also using DHCP doesn't necessarily
mean dynamic IP address.

The code which traps the USR1 signal seems to be Debian specific.
I can't find it in the original source.
If anybody out there knows the answer I woud really like to hear it.

Can somebody comment on usability of current i2o drivers in kernel
2.4.2 with Promise SuperTrak100 RAID controller? I did manage to mount
the array as i2o disk, but I'm not entirely sure about stability.
There seems to be some interrupt issue I'm trying to investigate.

Did anybody get succesfully Promise SuperTrak100 RAID5 controller
working? Kernel 2.4.1 seems to recogize the PDC20265 chip set, I2O
driver even tells me the controller is there, but I really don't know
how to talk to it nor where to mount the array. It is probably just my
