modutils and ieee1394 drivers

Well, I didn't see Wichert's note about modutils being broken, and now I've gotten into a state. I tried updating my kernel from 2.4.9 to kernel-image-2.4.10-k6, and the upgrade of modutils failed because of the unresolved symbols from the ieee1394 driver. Here's the output from dpkg: syrinx:~# d
