I've gor the problem that mdadm does not assemble my arrays during
initramfs time. However, when booting with Knoppix I can assemble all my
arrays with mdadm-startall without problem.
During initramfs I get:
(initramfs) mdadm -A /dev/md1 /dev/sd[ab]5
md: md1 stopped.

I've made a strange observation:
I can write files up to ~100M on DVD without problem (using k3b, which
in turn uses dvd+rw-tools).
But everything >1G gets written corrupted and takes up only about 15M on
the DVD, even though k3b does not find any difference while validating
after the write!

I tried to install a few extensions to my mozilla on debian testing,
especially mycroft and google bar, but did not succeed. It looked as if
it were installing something, but then nothing changed. I very much
guess that it could have something to do with permissions. Although I
