Hi,
I'm trying to install Woody on an server machine with no IDE controller,
just a built-in LSI Logic 1030 SCSI controller.
I've been using bf2.4, since this machine has got no PS/2 keyboard
connector, just USB. I see that the installer provides the opportunity
to load modules from a floppy, b
uts commands that it wants users to have global
access to. :)

Apparently, the discs are clearly labeled along the lines of "This CD
does not play on PC/MAC."
If the claims of Red Book compliance are true, and the CD's are clearly

Thanks.

pdate && apt-get upgrade, it wants to update a number of
packages, like binutils, gimp1.2, groff, klogd, and perl, to unstable
versions. Any ideas why this might be? Have I misunderstood how
priorities work?
Any insights would be appreciated.
