Ok, I figured as much on the blinking problem, but I've tried
different mouse configurations with no luck... I think that is my
problem with the sym links as well, but I don't know what permissions
I need to have for them ftp accessible?
And as for the ram, yes it counts up 98304K I believe on sys
links will work, so please let me know
how to fix this if possible. Thanks.

since it was installed. In the
latter case, you may want to edit the gtk-config script:
/usr/bin/gtk-config
configure: error: Cannot find GTK: Is gtk-config in path?
gtk-config IS located in /usr/bin, and I'm not sure what it wants me to

I'm having trouble getting ftpd setup correctly. It seems that when I
make a symbolic link, it works on the shell, however fails to work on
ftp connections. Any ideas on how to make them work with the ftpd would
be greatly appreciated. I'm using proftpd, if it makes any difference.

When I originally installed debian packages, it installed them in a bad
order, and I ended up with no menus in X11. So, I uninstalled and
reinstalled all the x11 program packages in order to get them put into
the menus, and now xemacs19 is causing some major problems in dselect.

I'm not sure if I missed a package when downloading hamm or something,
but pine was not included, so I downloaded the newest version available
from washington university. However, whenever I try to build it using
the linux option, I get an error "ld cannot open -ltermcap: no such file
or directory
