when you get updated files does it overwrite
current configuration?

Thanks, Mike worked like a charm
he doesn't know what he did .. the system is on a
video/mouse/keybroard switch box
see it was my fault leaving the system login as root in the frist place ..
since i am the only person that knows the system .. I didn't think there
would have been a problem.
