And Made a live usb stick using RUFUS 3.11. When I boot from stick to live
session from the boot menu. It gave me `/vmimage error. So I directly went
with the graphical Installation.

I have been trying to install debian kFreebsd to an external USB hard
drive. I am using a VMWare VM running from my Macbook pro with the
mini.iso loaded to complete the install. I get almost all the way through
the install and i get a message about the grub bootloader installation

I'd like to run Debian on my Cobalt RaQ4, but I can't exactly figure out
what branch to use and how to do it. The RaQ4 is not a MIPS box. It has
a K6 AMD processor. It doesn't have a CD or floppy drive, making the
install process difficult. How should I do this?

I am using Debian testing and I have a problem with the font fixed-10.
In Gnome font preference, the font fixed 8, 9, 11, 12 are all displayed
correctly (96dpi). However size 10 is extremely ugly (looks like a dual
width font). It is the this font that I use the most, which is pretty
frustrating. P

It seems a little odd that Debian uses Exim by default, but the MIMEDefang
package provided with Sarge depends on sendmail...

Hi all,
I've just set up my mail server of sorts here which is running Debian Sarge
with Exim4, Fetchmail, Procmail, and QPopper. All my packages are up to date
as of today.
I'm trying to set it up so I can send internal mail without going via my ISP
and external mail with address rewriting going
I am reading the Print HOWTO. If lpd is listening to port 515, does
this mean that I can send a file to be printed over this port and it
will be seen by lpd as something that needs to be printed?

and I've just removed DNSMasq and put BIND 9 in place instead.
This was working fine, DNS lookups are happy, the other PC's can surf the
net and all that with correct name resolution and local name resolution is
