I cannot get java-linux to make any sound using the AudioClip.play() method
When I run the any applet which should play sound, when the sound is to play I

I know there's an entry in
~/.netscape/preferences.js
user_preferences("mail.directory", /home/yourUserId/nsmail")
and hopefully that directory has a file called Inbox with a 'mortal' user and
group permission.

Any Java users out there?
I downloaded Blackdown Java (JDK1.1.6), and I am totally unable to produce a

I'm beginning to suspect Blackdown just never implemented to sound portion.

When I use the route -n command the results are just as the Debian User's Guide
says they should be.
Does anyone know what the problem is or what steps I can take to further
investigate the issue?

This is exactly right!!! (I finally figured it out about midnight last night!)
I had copied this script directly from the Debian User's Guide
(linuxpress.com?) - I will also send them a copy of this; I think it's a bad
example.
Thanks to all who helped me with this one!

I am unable to run Xwindows. I have debian 1.31. I believe I have messed
