This is a laptop.
I brought it home where I have a high speed connection with dhcp. So here dns
should work.
But I still see the delay.
This is fishy...

Until yesterday I had something like this in /etc/resolv.conf
search [name]
nameserver [IP of server]
But while trying to figure this problem out I installed
