To access a drive in Linux (or any other Un*x for that matter) you have to
mount the device at a mount point in the existing file system. To mount my
DOS partition i use this:
mount /dev/hda2 /dos -t msdos
^ ^^

I have a very similar setup. I have a Linux box and a Macintosh connected at
home via ethernet. I would strongly recommend that you have the modem
connected to the Linux box and then use it as a network gateway. The Win95
machine can have access to the internet via IP masquerading. All
